Fees & Terms

How much do sessions cost?

Fees cover face to face/online session time as well as overheads including ongoing training, regular supervision for all therapies, and professional registrations to help ensure I provide an evidenced-based, up-to-date, safe, and good quality service.

Privately paying individuals

Most privately paying individuals pay £100 for 50-60 minute sessions. Individually paying individuals are required to pay for each sessions 48 hours ahead of your appointment time via BACs. We do offer card machine services at the start of session or payment by cash. Please discuss this prior to starting your sessions.

Invoiced work

As much as I love and feel extremely fortunate to be able to help people, Redland Psychology is a small business, and we are sure you understand how important it is as a small business that you pay the invoices that we send you promptly.

Our payment terms are 48 hours from the date of invoice by BACS.

We reserve the right to charge interest on all overdue debts at the rate of 2% per month or part of a month.

Health Insurance

I am registered with all major private healthcare providers who will pay or contribute, including Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Cigna, WPA and Vitality. I also work for other organisations. Rates are set with the provider and range from £105-£110 per session.
For individuals making use of insurance, we issue invoices electronically at the beginning of the month direct to the insurers. All excess payments are to be paid directly to Redland Psychology by BACs at this time.

EMDR therapy

EMDR therapy sessions for adults are generally 60 minutes. Often, after the initial assessment and at the beginning of processing with EMDR it can be helpful to choose a longer session of 90 minute which are £150 (£110-120 for health insurance).

Cancellations

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or not attended are charged. I cannot fill the slots with such short notice. Insurers do not pay for missed sessions so you will need to cover the cost yourself. If you are feeling low, do try to come as you should feel better afterwards, and the feelings are an important part of the work will do together.
